Gone are the days of pastel colours and playing it safe, todays couples are bold, adventurous, exciting and they want their day to represent this.

Colours mean different things to different people and can evoke different emotions so including all of your favourite colours in your wedding colour theme can only be a good thing!!

Below are some of the meaning of popular colours:
Red – The colour of fire and blood.
It is associated with passion, desire, and love. This is the colour scheme that my husband and I went for at our wedding!
Yellow – The colour of sunshine.
It is associated with joy, happiness, intellect, and energy. Yellow produces a warming effect and arouses cheerfulness.
Purple – Combines the stability of blue and the energy of red.
It is associated with royalty and symbolises power, nobility, luxury, and ambition. It also conveys wealth and extravagance.
Blue – The colour of the sky and sea.
It is often associated with depth and stability and symbolises trust, loyalty, wisdom, and confidence.

I say that they are all such beautiful colours with wonderful meanings that they should all be combined into a fun rainbow theme!

So for all of you ‘brides-to-be’ thinking of having a ‘rainbow’ or ‘multi-coloured’ wedding theme here are some ideas to get you started……….
