A customer asked me the other day ‘when should she send her Save The Date cards out’ and ‘when should she post her wedding invitations’? I get asked this question quite a lot along with ‘what should be included on my wedding invitations’? My answer is always do what you feel is right and which will cause you the least amount of stress.  There however general guidelines or so called ‘Wedding Etiquette’ covering these types of questions and below I have summarised some of the most popular questions asked and my response……let me know if I have missed any out or if you would like me to add any.

It’s been nearly a year since our special day and nearly a year since the launch of our fantastic wedding stationery company….Elsie May Designs! It seems like the year has flown by so quickly but we are so proud of our little company which keeps continuing to grow.

We aim to offer a personal service and be a company that really cares and from our customer feedback it seems like we are definitely doing something right! We offer a wide range of modern, quirky and unique wedding stationery with the emphasis being on ‘fun’ as that’s surely what your day should be all about.

How it all Started – Our First Wedding Blog!

What can I say….I discovered a love for cool, modern and quirky weddings (anything a little different really) and I wanted to share my ideas and inspirations with you!

My gorgeous hubby Alex proposed to me out of the blue while we were on holiday in Croatia and of course I said yes!  I always wanted to get married but I never wanted to make a big fuss of it.  Running away just me and him with a couple of witnesses was our ideal – skip all the fuss and hassle associated with arranging a big affair (I thought!) but when I started to look into it I realised that no I didn’t want a fuss, and no I didn’t want it to be massive affair but I did want to celebrate our Special Day and I did want to have a BIG PARTY!
